The Giant African Snail has gone through some slow evolutionary changes. Its body is comprised of a shell that is twice as long as it is tall or wide, and a "foot" that controls movement. It also has not antennae, but two tentacles from the front of its head. These tentacles are useless for grip, rather, they hold the eyeball from the snail. The only hard part of a snail is the shell.
